
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles in George Lopez (2002 - 2007) and Marcela Quitanilla (mother Selena) in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She is currently portraying Camila Diaz on the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie began her acting career in her teens. In 1988 she scored her first role in Salsa. Other television and film credits include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role of Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie appeared alongside Jacqueline Obradors, Hector Elizondo and Elizabeth Pena in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup. Marie was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she launched her own clothing linecalled "The Constance Marie Collection". She also appeared in an ad campaign for PETA in 2007 to encourage pet owners to spay and neuter their animals. 3. Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters, Regina Vasquez. She appeared on the drama series ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 to 2017.
