Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound quickly propelled her to the top charts once she drew the attention of the general public in 2010. Her ability to achieve this feat with her songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to compose catchy, but emotionally sincere songs puts her in the forefront of popular music of the present as well as arty and independent pop.
