Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. She is most well-known as the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Her previous experience includes working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on all aspects of both US House and Senate. Bolduan, as an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative discussions, such as negotiations for raising the limit on federal loans and the Super Committee deliberations. Her general assignment work has included reports about Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource. As a correspondent for the national network, she was responsible for breaking news coverage and feature news for over 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City with her husband and two children.
