Lis Wiehl, an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis on National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight the Imus morning programs and is the host of her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's at Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl served as a US attorney in the United States. She also worked as a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 to 2001, she was a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
