Angela Sun

Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on October 19, 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television host. After participating in a few pro-am surfer contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and various other major companies. The recognition she got from this acted like a slingshot that launched her into the world of entertainment. In the future, she would go to be a film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun was a reporter for several news channels, primarily as anchor. She was an anchor for Fox Sports Net in 2003. Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. Her 2012 hosting duties included American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is an established actress who has been featured in a variety of movies. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
