Dua Lipa is an English artist and musician who was born on August 22nd of 1995 in London United Kingdom. After doing work as a fashion model before joining Warner Bros Records and release her first album. It peaked at number third on the U.K. Albums Chart and recorded eight singles that included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number sixth in the United States. Lipa received The Brit Award in 2018 as British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is recognized as platinum in several countries. Dua Lipa was birthed to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on the 22nd of August, 1995. Her maternal grandmother is the reason Dua Lipa is Bosnian descendance. Her ancestors are also tracked back to the Kosovo cities of Peja. Two of Lipa's grandfathers are historians. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa. She also has an older brother called Gjin. Lipa's father, the musician and lead singer from the Kosovan band Oda has influenced her in music. The family was a place where her father continued playing music which included his music and compositions, as well as songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa started singing around the age of five. After age nine, Lipa began singing in the Sylvia Young Theater School.
